Holidays

Well Christmas came and went....Food up to my eyeballs and now New Years resolution time...

Exercise, Marketing for business, Focus Focus Focus!!!

I havent sold anything on Etsy yet but I'm convinced that it will happen soon. After all, there is alot of jewelry on Etsy and I know I just need to be patient. I worked in the shop the last few days with new tools that santa got me!!! So here are a few things I created...............

What A Day!

Well for some reason my cat, who I might add, uses the doggie door as a way to bring in his wonderful collection of Lizards....He plays with them until I think the poor things die of a heart attack. I was able to rescue one this morning as I was having my daily cup of Joe. Sent him on his merry way and told him to please not come back.
I had fun tinkering in the work shop today and created another piece. I'll post pics later as right now I am baking 3 dozen doggie biscuits for christmas gifts to family and great neighbors with the craziest dogs I've ever met.... One named banjo, you guessed it there is some bluegrass that aided in the picking of that name. Oh and the unforgettable Huck, which is short for Huckleberry...A bull dog that snorts and grunts his way around the downtown area, and I just love him!
Wow! The house smells delicious! Makes me want to eat them...Lol
I'm gonna get them out, I'll post some pics of the new earrings a bit later today.

Morning Time

I spent the morning in the shop banging and hammering at things....I'm sure my neighbors hate to hear it, especially when I go in late at night because I had a brainstorm.

I had a neighbor at a recent Oyster Roast tell me that she heard another neighbor of ours hammering and working at like 10/11pm on his house....I didnt want to say anything but I'm sure it was me. OOOPPSSS!!

I made a Twisted Copper Pendant and necklace today... I have to head out to the library and return some books that were due yesterday..I'm always late! Then also have to get some supplies.

Results

This was the result of my tinkering in the shop today....I feel like I accomplished something!

Winter Day

I spent the day creating an Artfire shop and tinkering in my workshop, hammering and cutting.... It was kind of a dreary day. I watched the doggies run in and out occasionally poking their heads through the doggie door to the workshop to see what I was up too. Always keeps a smile on my face to see my dog Kodi peeping, he gives me inspiration and a laugh!

I think I had the same cup of coffee for pretty much all of the day, taking a sip here and there. Lol! Yuck!

I created a couple new pieces.

I've been working with recycled copper lately and love it!

Friends have gotten in on the act and have given me all gauges of wire to work with, so I'm having a blast. Nothing to waste! I was going to solder some pieces but just discovered I am out of propane for my torch so no soldering today. Well, off to get some more work done!
